Easy Crock Pot Ham

This easy-to-make ham is perfect for any holiday, or even just a weeknight when you're feeling fancy!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 6 hours
Total Time 6 hours 5 minutes
Servings 1 ham

Ingredients

  • 1 ham (pre-cooked and maybe even pre-sliced, as any sane person would buy)
  • brown sugar (no measurements here, just use as much as your lil' heart desires)
  • 1 20-oz can pineapple chunks (do not drain)

Instructions

  • Make sure your ham will fit in the size of your slow cooker! Cover the bottom of the slow cooker with as much brown sugar as you need to completely cover it. Place the ham on top of the sugar. Pour the pineapple chunks and juice over the top and around the sides. Cover with more brown sugar, as much as you want or until the ham is evenly covered in a thin dusting.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, carve it up, and enjoy!

Notes

  • I know, this was literally the easiest recipe. You're welcome.
  • This creates a lot of liquid, so be careful when removing the ham. Wear an apron, especially if you're already dressed all cute for your holiday guests (I was, and did not wear an apron, and am just now getting the stains out of my sweater).
  • Normally I have a source for my recipes, but this one is literally so easy that I just searched for it on Pinterest and combined parts of a lot of different recipes. So if you're concerned about me stealing it, go search for it and pick a random blog and we'll say it came from there. Deal?
